The Start

Abstract

I have always loved and rode dirt bikes. I would ask my mom to let me race
and she would always tell me "no". She would say she did not want me to get hurt.
Me and my sister would just ride around the house.
I had a lot of friends that raced and even friends that owned some of the tracks
around my area. I started riding with my friends when they would practice. I stayed
a couple of times with my friend Cory and went to the races to help his son Casen.
One weekend, I had my Honda at the track and Cory asked me if I wanted to race.
Of course, I told him yes. They called my mom to tell her I was racing. She met
me at the start line. I was so excited. I finally was going to race. I did good and
my mom was so proud. I proved that I would race hard and be as safe as possible.
I raced a few more times and showed her that I was serious and responsible.
For my birthday, my mom bought me the bike I wanted so badly, an AKX112,
and it is a fast one. I cannot wait to start this race season and show everyone how
good I am going to do. If you ever have a chance to race, you should go or watch
one. It is always a fun time.
