My Willow Tree
Abstract
Oh, willow tree,
Great Grandmother Willow tree
your branches so gay.
The wind blows and your branches sway. In the winter you're bare and sad.
In the spring you're green and beautiful. In the summer you're the same old friend I have always known.
And in the fall, you fade away,
but as I sing and swing in your tree tops, I will always remember you.
For when you fall,
I will gather your beautiful branches, and plant them where you lay.
But until then I will sing and swing in your Tree tops again, and again.
