The Galaxy Night Witch
Abstract
THE GALAXY NIGHT WITCH Once upon a time there was a girl who loved space and Nova was her name. One night when she was looking up into the dark sky, she saw a super colorful circle, so she went to ask her mother what it was. Nova’s mom said it was a galaxy, because it was galaxy night. The next day was Monday. When she got to school Nova asked her friends, Emma and Abby, if they saw a galaxy last night. Emma said ‘no’ and Abby said ‘yes’. So she asked some more people and some said no, but a little bit said yes. Was it because some lived in town and the others didn’t?
The rest of the week went awesome. The class learned a whole lot about space and what some astronauts do in space. Then came Sunday, galaxy night. Nova was so excited that she stayed outside for the whole day until it was night time! Then she called her friends that said yes. Soon they were all there on Nova’s trampoline looking up in the sky, looking to see if they could find a galaxy.
After a few hours some went inside to get hot cocoa, treats, and blankets. Then after that we started seeing a lot of galaxies. Some might have been the same ones too. Close to midnight it was time for the guests to leave, but Nova asked if they wanted to have a sleepover, but they all said no. So Nova said the truth and kind of tricked them, it was for galaxy night and a sleepover unless they wanted to walk all the way home, so they all stayed except for the ones that were next door or if they were pretty close to Nova’s home (Nova’s house). When they went inside they played games and ate a meal and played tag, hide and seek, and hide and seek tag. Then they watched a movie and figured out who was sleeping were. The next day their parents came to pick them up. They tried to hide, but Nova’s sister told their parents where Nova’s friends were.
A TWISTY TWIST
When everybody went to school Nova and her friends were talking a whole lot about the galaxies and the sleepover. While Nova and her friends were talking about it, a lot of people said that they saw some galaxies last night too, but Nova was smart so she said “I can’t do that ever again.” Then everybody groaned and said “aw man.” After Nova said that she looked at her friends and then winked. The friends would never ever unfriend each other from that day on. But then an evil witch portaled to the place called Earth, from Mars, to where Nova and her friends were. She portaled with a magical ring, but she goes to different places every time it becomes galaxy night, but the ring is uncontrollable. The mean witch went to find many friends and that’s when she saw Nova and her friends. The witch went down to the ground then made herself into a kid and pretended to cry. When Nova and her friends went near the witch they asked the girl if she was ok. The witch said “no because I have no friends.” Nova asked her friends if it was okay, and they said YES! So they went to Abby’s. They had so much fun and ate delicious meals. Then the wicked witch asked if she could talk to Nova privately, and Nova said yes of course you can cause you are my friend!
THE ENEMIES
The witch said “look into my eyes and say the truth, who do you like more the wicked witch or your mean old friends?” Nova said “the wicked witch of course.” “Good girl” said the wicked witch. “You will now obey me, now let’s go play by ourselfs.” “Hi guys what are ya’ll doing?” says Abby. “We’re going to play with only us two”, Nova says. “Oh ok”, all the friends say. 3 min later, “This is boring, can we go check on Nova and um uh Lilly or um Lizzy?” “Sure” said Abby, “maybe we can play with them too. So let’s go. Their probably out back cause there is a playground there. Uh um they might be in my front yard on the swings. They’re not here, well that’s totally not weird. NOVA!!!!!!!” “OH NO!” says the wicked witch. “They’re looking for my friend uh um come on, the spells about to break and she is only half way my full self that is only my friend my friend NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
BOOOOOM BOOOOOM CRASH THE END
